We charge a fixed shipping fee of $5.95 for all orders within the New Zealand that are below $400. For orders over $400, please see shipping rates at checkout.
* Rural delivery is an additional $4.00
At checkout, you have the option to choose between our standard and express shipping methods for your order.
For those who need their products to arrive quickly, we provide the option to select Express Shipping at checkout for an additional fee.
These options will be displayed during checkout, allowing you to make an informed decision on the best way to receive your order in a timely manner.
The shipping times exclude prescription and reading glasses as these are custom-made to order.
Where do you ship your products from?
Orders are shipped from Hamilton, New Zealand via NZ Post.
International shipping
We charge a fixed shipping fee of $7.95 for all international orders that are below $400. For orders over $400, please see shipping rates at checkout.

*Note: Any taxes or duties imposed by individual countries outside of New Zealand is not included in the sale price. When an order is shipped internationally, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These fees are not included in our prices and we are unable to calculate import fees added to your shipment. If applicable, these charges are the responsibility of the recipient and will typically be due once the shipped goods arrive at the country of destination prior to delivery. For further information, we recommend contacting your local customs office.
Shipping times
After placing your order, you'll promptly receive an order confirmation email containing your unique order number. Our team will then swiftly prepare your order, typically shipping it out the same day, although it may take up to 2 business days in certain cases. Please be aware that during peak sale periods, order dispatch times may be extended to 2-4 business days due to exceptionally high order volumes. It's important to note that the estimated shipping time provided does not encompass the order processing duration; rather, it begins once your order has been dispatched.
All New Zealand orders are sent via NZ Post & will be delivered within the standard NZ Post delivery days. Express Delivery is a shipping option when checking out and the estimated delivery time is 1 - 3 business days for express.
Shipping times vary depending on your address, but rough estimates are:
- New Zealand metropolitan centers - 2-7 business days
- All other New Zealand addresses - 3-5 business days
- All other international locations - 4 - 20 business days (depending on service selected)
Please note all shipping times stated above are not guaranteed shipping times and are an estimate only, as shipping times may vary depending on weather conditions and peak times of the year.

Pre-order items
We strive to provide our customers with the most accurate dispatch date for pre-order items; however, please note that the listed date is an estimate and unforeseen delays beyond our control may occur.
For orders that include both pre-order items and in-stock items, we will ship everything together as a single order once the pre-order items become available. If you would like the in-stock items to be shipped earlier, we can arrange this for you for an additional freight charge.
Any pre-order items that are cancelled will incur a 5% cancellation fee which will be deducted from any refund given as payment processing fees which are non-refundable.
Returns & Exchanges
Full-priced items purchased from BlockBlueLight can be returned for an exchange, store credit, or refund within 30 days of your order delivery.
Prescription, reading glasses, and custom glasses are non-refundable as they are all custom-made to order.
Once an order is placed for prescription or reading glasses the order cannot be cancelled as they are all custom-made to order lenses the work on them starts as soon as the order has been submitted.

All our exchanges or returns are subject to the following conditions:
- BlockBlueLight must take receipt of the return or exchange product within 30 days of your order delivery. Please allow sufficient return shipping time for the item to arrive at our warehouse.
- You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs to return the product to us.
- For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns and exchanges on our and of our sleep masks or ear plugs so please consider this before purchasing these items.
Product Condition
- The product/s are returned to us complete and in new and resalable condition.
- All supplementary items supplied such as cases, cleaning cloths, and charging cables are all returned. Failure to include all included accessories will result in the return being rejected and an $8.99 shipping charge applied to send the goods back to you.
- Glasses received that have dirty lenses, have fingerprints or makeup on them will incur a $15 cleaning fee which will be deducted from your return.
- All original BlockBlueLight branded packaging including cases and product boxes are returned undamaged and in new and saleable condition. Failure to include all original branded product boxes and cases will result in the return being rejected and an $8.99 shipping charge applied to send the goods back to you.
Exchanges
- If exchanging glasses for another pair, we will ship a new pair to you for FREE. This only applies to one exchange (Australia, NZ, and UK customers only).
- If you exchange a pair of glasses we will post this exchanged pair to you for free (for first exchange only), however, if you then decide to return this exchanged pair for a refund, a $9.99 postage cost will be deducted from your refund. Additional exchanges after the first one will incur a shipping fee to send back out.
- International customers who wish to exchange their products, are required to pay the international shipping fee for their exchange order to be dispatched.
- If you want to exchange any light bulbs or lamps for a different fitting or model then return shipping back out to you with your replacement bulbs will be at your cost.
- All Sleep masks and ear plugs products are not eligible to be refunded, exchanged, or for store credit.
- Refunds are not applicable on prescription, custom, and reading glasses as they are all custom-made to order.
- Red light therapy stands including the base stand, vertical stand, horizontal stand, heavy duty stand, and motorised stand are not eligible to be refunded or exchanged.
Refunds
- Refunds will be credited to the same account as the account from which the original payment was made.
- Any items purchased at reduced prices during sale periods where a sitewide discount code of greater than 15% is used, this is inclusive of major sales such as Black Friday and holiday sales, can be returned for an exchange or store credit only.
- If you return an item that was purchased in a BOGO 50% off sale, the refund will result in the discount being removed.
- All Sleep masks and earplugs products are not eligible to be refunded, exchanged, or for store credit.
- Refunds are not applicable on prescription, custom, and reading glasses as they are all custom-made to order.
- Red light therapy stands including the base stand, vertical stand, horizontal stand, heavy duty stand, and motorised stand are not eligible to be refunded or exchanged.
- If an order is having items returned for a refund and it included a free gift, the free gift is also required to be returned to be eligible for a full refund. If the free gift is not returned the full price of the gift item will be deducted from any refund provided.
Sale Items
- Sale items are non-refundable but can be exchanged or returned for store credit within the 30-day return period.
- If a discount of greater than 15% is used this is considered a "sale item".
- Discount codes of 15% and lower are not considered a "sale item" and are eligible for a refund.
- If you place your order before or between sales, there can be no price adjustments made to it.
Non-returnable items
The following items cannot be returned for an exchange, refund, or store credit due to hygiene reasons, or because they are a custom product made to order, or have been assembled.

- Custom Frame Service
- Red light therapy stands including the base stand, vertical stand, horizontal stand, heavy duty stand, and motorised stand
Missing Parcels
BlockBlueLight is not responsible for lost or damaged packages during transit. We will to the best of our ability attempt to resolve any issues that may arise during transit, but make no guarantee of such.The tracking number can be used by you to locate any missing parcels with your national carrier.
BlockBlueLight offers the option to add shipping insurance to your order at checkout to cover your parcel for loss or damage during transit. More information on shipping insurance can be found here.
Non Deliverable & RTS Parcels
If your order is not able to be delivered due to incorrect address information provided, or it has not been collected from the Post Office and it is returned to us, this will result in a return shipping cost of $9.99 being deducted from any refund given, or $9.99 will be payable before we resend the order.
Any orders that are returned with the parcel marked as “Return to Sender”, will have a $9.99 shipping fee deducted from the refund, or $9.99 will be payable before we resend the order.
Warranty
BlockBlueLight products all come standard with a 12-month warranty against any manufacturing defects. Our warranty includes any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Manufacturing and material defects do not include normal wear and tear, scratched lenses, or broken frames due to dropping or putting pressure put on them.
Cancelling or Changing an order
Once you have placed your order it is final and will be shipped as is.
If you went through our entire checkout process and confirmed and paid for your order, there is a high chance we will be unable to cancel it. This is due to our system immediately sending your order through to our fulfilment partner for picking and dispatch. This system is to ensure our orders are delivered to customers as soon as possible.
However, if you do need to change or cancel an order, please email us immediately and we will do our very best to carry out your request, but please keep in mind we have a high volume of orders and customer service requests so your order may have shipped before our customer service attend to your request.
We cannot guarantee a change of order after the order is placed so please select your items carefully.
Any orders that we are able to stop in time and cancel will incur a 5% cancellation fee on item/s cancelled as payment processing fees which are non-refundable.
