I've been looking for an amber light to avoid using my lamp and my cellphone when I have those nights when I don't sleep well but I also don't want to wake up anybody else. This has been helpful with avoiding the temptation of endless scrolling with the added knowledge that I can avoid any blue or white light, but now I have a new problem - now there's nothing's stopping me from reading the books on my TBR list!

We have both this and the red light and depending on my mood, sometimes I will choose this light to read with. Both does the same thing so it's just a case of personal preference if I want a bit more the usual setting with this colour lighting versus the red.

The Amber Book Light has fulfilled my need to get a good nights sleep after reading in bed. It is very well designed and made, it seems sturdy. The neck bends into good positions well, and stays put after being positioned.
The light is easily clipped on to a book, and it stays in place. I sometimes clip it onto the back of a hardback or magazine, if I want to flick through the pages. With three choices of light strength it gives me good options for different situations.
Reading on long train journeys is less stressful for my eyes, and it is so easy to pack into my handbag, especially as I got the case to go with it. Charging is easy, and lasts well. So impressed I bought a couple as Xmas presents for my son and daughter, now all my friends want one! Highly recommended.

I haven’t used this yet for reading but last night I used it to find my cat in the middle of the night. I was sleeping and realized I hadn’t seen her before I went to bed. I didn’t want to turn on any lights so I used it as a flashlight and found her shut in the laundry area. She had been sleeping in a little bin when the doors were shut.
It’s a fantastic little light.
