This light gives a lovely warm yellowy Amber light. I like to put it on first thing in the morning on gloomy dark mornings. It's not bright enough to use at night for reading in bed.

Mistake on my part, but this light is TINY. Smaller than I expected. I have a small shelf above the bed that I got two of these lights for. I was hoping to be able to plug them and be able to turn them on with our switch that controls the outlet they would be plugged into. No such luck. They ONLY turn on by being depressed. Also, they glow when plugged in- so don't expect to be able to charge them at night. Bright green when plugged in and fully charged and red when it's plugged in and still needs more time. Yikes. All around miss for me.

Love these beacon lights! We use them in the bathroom for showering at night instead of the brutal fluorescent bulbs. The beacon lights give off just the right amount of light to create a warm and very relaxing ambiance. Also love the size and super easy to recharge. They will be great to pack when travelling. Definitely recommend adding these to your cart.
